Wheel throwing workshops are back for 2025! Have you ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? Now's your chance! Join us for a fun filled six week wheel throwing workshop where you'll be guided through the basics of pottery- from preparing clay to throwing, trimming, attaching handles and glazing. By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have your very own collection of handmade ceramics—and just a warning; you’ll probably get hooked! This workshop is perfect for beginners, but students with any previous experience are also welcome. We’ll provide all the materials you need, including clay, tools, glazes, and firings. Just bring an old towel, wear closed shoes and comfy clothes, and be prepared to get a little messy! Pro tip: We recommend trimming your nails before class for a better experience on the wheel. Tuesday 4th March- Tuesday 8th April 9.30am - 12.30pm Our studio is located on the ground floor of the Melbourne Street Gardens offices (across the road from UR Cafe and Saint Garde). Parking can be found along Melbourne Street or in the car park on Dunn Street.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel up to 14-days prior to the date of your class and receive a full refund of the value of the class. If you cancel between 7 and 13 days prior to the class, you will be eligible for a partial refund of 50% of the class value. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the date of the class are not eligible for a refund as materials for your class will have been purchased by this time. At this time, we do not offer make-up sessions for missed class sessions. Please contact us to discuss alternative options if you are going to miss a class.
