Have you ever wanted to try your hand at pottery? Now's your chance! Join us for a fun filled six week wheel throwing workshop where you'll be guided through the basics of pottery- from preparing clay to throwing, trimming, attaching handles and glazing. By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have your very own collection of handmade ceramics - and just a warning; you’ll probably get hooked! While this workshop is perfect for beginners, returning students will be guided to explore more advanced forms and techniques. We’ll provide all the materials you need, including clay, tools, glazes, and firings. Just bring an old towel, wear closed shoes and comfy clothes, and be prepared to get a little messy! Pro tip: We recommend trimming your nails before class for a better experience on the wheel. Wednesday 13th May - Tuesday 17th June 5.30am - 8.30pm Our studio is located on the ground floor of the Melbourne Street Gardens offices (across the road from UR Cafe and Saint Garde). Parking can be found along Melbourne Street or in the car park on Dunn Street.
