Six Week Intermediate Throwing Workshop

Are you ready to take the next step in pottery? Welcome to our intermediate throwing course! This is designed for experienced throwers who have completed at least two terms of our six-week beginner throwing classes. If you haven't attended our courses but have prior pottery experience, please get in touch with us before booking - we’d love to see some images of your work to ensure this class is the right fit. In this course, we’ll focus on advancing your skills by working on larger forms, lidded vessels, and achieving greater consistency in size and shape. Students are encouraged to bring their own project ideas and explore individual creative goals. Please note: This class is suited to students who are confident in centering, throwing, and trimming. All materials are provided, including clay, tools, glazes, and firings — but you're more than welcome to bring your own tools, bats, or glazes if you prefer using your own. Please remember to wear comfy clothes, closed-toe shoes, and bring an old towel. Tuesday 8th July - Tuesday 12th August 6pm - 9pm Our studio is located on the ground floor of the Melbourne Street Gardens offices (across the road from UR Cafe and Saint Garde). Parking can be found along Melbourne Street or in the car park on Dunn Street.
